Weinlandhof Gamlitz is committed to making its website www.weinlandhof.at as accessible as possible.
This accessibility statement applies to the website:
The website has been reviewed and technically revised on the basis of the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2, Level AA, and the requirements of EN 301 549.
This website is currently partially compliant with the accessibility requirements.
Many contents and functions of the website have already been made accessible or more accessible. This includes, in particular, the main navigation, keyboard operation, visible focus states, heading structure, link labels, alternative texts, colour contrasts, slider controls, form labels and embedded content.
However, some content and functions are not yet fully accessible. In several cases, these are third-party integrations or editorial content in the multilingual version of the website, over which we have only limited or no direct technical control. The main known limitations are described below.
Online booking is partly provided via an iframe integration from a third-party provider. We have only limited influence on the technical implementation within this external booking interface.
The date selection form embedded directly on the website, for example on the homepage, for arrival, departure and search is generally accessible and can be used for the initial date selection.

Some colour contrasts are insufficient.
Some images or graphic elements do not have suitable alternative text.
Form fields, error messages and operating instructions are not consistently understandable or technically accessible.
The calendar fields for arrival and departure open a calendar widget, but the individual days cannot be reliably selected using the keyboard.
When leaving the calendar, the widget does not close reliably.
Multiple calendar widgets can overlap and cover underlying form areas.
In some cases, the page must be refreshed in order to return the form to its initial state.
Data sometimes loads very slowly or fails due to server or connection problems.
Buttons such as “Alternative buchen” and “Info” sometimes have insufficient contrast in the hover state because the text and background are displayed in very similar or identical colours.
When clicking “Info”, a popup opens that does not contain any usable content. This can be misleading for users.
Keyboard operation in the shopping cart is only possible to a limited extent.
When navigating by keyboard, the focus sometimes jumps from the “Warenkorb” tab directly to “Persönliche Daten eingeben”.
Functions such as “edit shopping cart” or “reset booking” cannot be reliably reached by keyboard.
The “Back to card” button cannot be selected using the keyboard.
Error messages are only rudimentary, for example “Required field”, and do not always provide sufficient help for resolving the error.
We have documented these barriers. As the booking process is technically provided by an external provider, these issues cannot be corrected directly via the website www.weinlandhof.at.
Wenn Sie die Online-Buchung aufgrund einer Behinderung oder technischen Barriere nicht oder nur eingeschränkt nutzen können, empfehlen wir Ihnen, direkt mit uns Kontakt aufzunehmen.

The English language version has been reviewed on a sample basis. The website uses the TranslatePress translation plugin for multilingual display. The existing pages, templates and technical components of the German website are reused and displayed with translated text content.
Since the technical templates and components are largely identical, most of the technical corrections also apply to the English language version. In addition, the page language, language switcher, translated link and form labels, alternative texts, ARIA labels, focus order and external booking process were also considered in the English version.
Since the technical templates and components are largely identical, most of the technical corrections also apply to the English language version. In addition, the page language, language switcher, translated link and form labels, alternative texts, ARIA labels, focus order and external booking process were also considered in the English version.
This can result in the following limitations:
Some content on English pages may still appear in German.
Not all visible texts in the English version are fully and consistently translated.
Some alternative texts or editorial labels may still be in German.
Mixed-language content may be less understandable for English-speaking users.
Language changes within individual content areas are not always technically marked up separately.

If you do not understand content in the English language version or require a translation, please contact us by telephone or email. We will be happy to assist you personally.
External content may be embedded on the website, such as videos, maps, booking interfaces or content from third-party providers. Some of this content lies outside our direct technical control.
We make every effort to provide such integrations in the most accessible way possible, for example through meaningful iframe titles, alternative links or additional information. However, the full accessibility of external systems cannot always be guaranteed by us.
On individual pages, text may be displayed over image backgrounds. Depending on the image motif, the contrast may be limited in certain situations. We have improved the readability of these areas, but cannot guarantee consistently stable contrast in every case when changing image motifs are used.
Several contrast issues were corrected as part of the technical revision. However, some individual design elements, older content or elements generated by plugins may still exist whose contrast does not fully meet the requirements.
On individual pages, so-called flip cards or interactive image tiles are used, which originate from an older theme and builder setup and are used in several areas of the website. These elements are currently not fully accessible, in particular their display may be inconsistent when operated by keyboard or when focus changes, and the front and back sides of the cards are not always reliably separated. However, based on the current review, the affected flip cards are not critical for navigation, as they mainly contain supplementary links or repeat links that can also be reached via the main navigation, regular content areas or other navigation points on the website. Essential content and key functions of the website therefore do not depend exclusively on these flip cards. A complete technical correction of this older component is only possible to a limited extent due to the existing theme and builder structure and would likely require replacing the component or redesigning the affected sections. We will take this limitation into account in future revisions of the website and, where possible, replace the affected flip cards with more robust content cards or regular link elements that remain permanently visible and are fully operable by keyboard.
As part of the revision, the following measures were implemented, among others:
Improved keyboard operation of the main navigation.
Corrected focus order on pages where the normal header was not displayed.
Visible focus states for links, buttons and interactive elements.
Improved link labels and accessible names.
Correction of empty or unclear links and buttons.
Improved heading structure, especially on room pages.
Addition of iframe titles.
Improved slider controls, pagination and touch target sizes.
Correction or removal of empty slider headings.
Improvement of numerous colour contrasts.
Adjustment of buttons, hover states and text links.
Improved usability of accordions and content links.
Marking of decorative images and correction of missing alternative texts where technically possible.
Improvement of blog, category and room pages.
Improvement of sitemap links and touch target sizes.
Improvement of the homepage search form for arrival, departure and availability search.
Removal of positive tabindex values from dynamically generated form fields.
Improvement of automatically generated German and English ARIA labels.
Multilingual output of technical accessibility labels in German and English.
Improved accessibility of the homepage in automated accessibility checks.
