Wine Blossom Festival in Gamlitz

At the Wine Blossom Festival you can explore the region's vineyards on a leisurely wine blossom hike. Every now and then, there will be a short break at the participating wineries and local restaurants. There is also a lot of food served there!

Already during and after the first wine blossom, the first forecasts can be made regarding the requirements for a good vintage. The winegrowers and winemakers can tell by whether the self-pollinated nodes actually grow into berries or fall off immediately after flowering. When exactly the grape blossom begins, depends largely on the weather conditions and the climate.

The Gamlitz Tourism Office and numerous innkeepers and wineries from the area initiate the wine blossom festival in Gamlitz every year.

What better way to explore the vine blossom than during a wine blossom hike along the local vineyards? Every now and then there will be a short break at the participating wineries and Buschenschank, where you will be served drinks and snacks. Wine and schnapps tastings as well as other culinary highlights await you. The day will be rounded off with a celebration and music.
