How nice that spring always comes exactly when you need it! In any case, we at Weinlandhof are ready for a new season. Every year, at the end of March we are ready for Gamlitz opening up again!
After the winter break, the regional wineries will open their doors again - together with the other
companies in the region. That’s exactly what we want to celebrate with you! At "Gamlitz Season Opening“ we even celebrate spring for an entire weekend.

Season Opening in southern Styria - the program
At the spring wine tasting at Gamlitz Castle from 22nd - 24th March 2024 you can try the new wines from our southern Styrian winemakers and let yourself be enchanted by the newly renovated castle. Afterwards, pay a visit to our diverse wineries and get to know southern Styrian hospitality. The motto this weekend: taste, experience and enjoy!

Spring wine tasting in Gamlitz
Every year, an absolute highlight takes place on the 1st weekend before the beginning of spring: Over 400 wines of the new vintage from the regional winemakers can be tasted at Gamlitz Castle.
We can't think of a venue more suitable for this event than Gamlitz Castle. You can get an overview first, and later taste and evaluate the individual wines.
Once you've found your absolute favorite, we recommend you to pay a visit to your favourite winery. There, you will learn more about the philosophy of wine making and can also try one of the region's culinary "Schmankerln".
