The open-air bath Retznei is also know as mountain bath among the locals: Situated on the top of a hill you can enjoy a beautiful view of the region and of the castle of Ehrenhausen. Visitors can expect two swimming pools, a sports pool, a children's pool and a beach volleyball court. Distance to Weinlandhof: approx. 5 minutes by car.

The Sulmsee bathing lake is just 17 minutes by car from Weinlandhof and is situated west of the town of Leibnitz. With a view of the idyllic castle of Seggau you can cool off in a lovely surrounding here, do Stand Up Paddle Boarding or simply relax.

All those who prefer to leave their swimsuit at home and rather prefer to go on a hike on a hot day, will find an ideal place to cool off just 15 minutes by car from Weinlandhof: The Heiligengeist Gorge.
The 3 kilometer long path leads over, along and (on stones) through the creek of Heiligengeist, waterfalls line the path up to the Styrian-Slovenian border ridge.
Just an 8-minute walk from Weinlandhof, you will find the Gamlitz lakes, located in the Gamlitz motor skills park. A nearby option to cool off on hot days - and you can also train your coordination skills at the 41 stations in the motor skills park.
In addition to jumping into the cool water, the Gamlitz motor skills park is also an ideal place to train your skills and coordination.
